It would be fair to say Machine learning is more accessible than it has ever been, with relatively modest hardware and skipping the PhD you can now create and train your own models or put pre-trained models to use. I can’t say it is always straightforward, though; it is still very much an emerging field with rapidly advancing develops, tools, toolkits and SDKs.
